What is new in Season 31

Season 31 is a bigger park than the one that closed in May. There are 29 pavilions covering more than 90 cultures, over 3,500 shops and more than 250 places to eat. Sri Lanka gets a pavilion of its own this year, Azerbaijan shares a new combined pavilion with Russia, and the Syria and Kuwait pavilions are back with fresh facades. Food is where most returning visitors will feel the change first: Trabzon Turkish Restaurant is new, Restaurant Plaza adds Robo Al Sham, Hawawshi Al Rabie and Chicking, and three new cafes — Vinci Dolci, Emir Bey Gourmet and Uzungol Cafe — join the line-up. On the rides side, the headline is Tokyo Rush, a looping roller coaster, although it opens later in the season rather than on opening night. The show calendar runs to around 40,000 performances, led by a new stunt show, Fast Live 2: The Police Strikes Back, and two new anchor shows, Bollywood Idol and Bank Heist. Families also get a redesigned Season 31 Passport — plus a first Kids Passport — with stamping stations in every pavilion. Standard entry is Dh25 on weekdays and Dh30 on weekends and public holidays, and after opening night the park runs 4pm to midnight Sunday to Wednesday and 4pm to 1am Thursday to Saturday.

VIP packs: prices and perks

VIP packs went on pre-sale from September 21, with general sales from September 26, priced from Dh1,890 to Dh7,900 depending on the tier, with Mega Gold and Mega Silver packages above that. Packs are for UAE residents aged 18 and over with a valid Emirates ID, and are sold through Coca-Cola Arena’s ticketing site. Depending on the pack, perks can include VIP parking, entry tickets, Wonder Pass points, and offers at Dubai Parks and Resorts, Riverland, Real Madrid World, The Green Planet and Roxy Cinemas.

Dubai Police warning: buy only from official channels

Dubai Police have warned that fraudulent links offering VIP packs at attractive prices resurface every season and are designed to steal money and personal information.
