Global Village reopens at 6pm on Wednesday, October 14 for Season 31, under the theme “A More Wonderful World”. Dubai’s most popular family day out runs until May 2027, with pavilions, street food, rides and live entertainment returning to the Dubailand site after the summer closure.

Two things to know before opening night: VIP packs are already on sale, and Dubai Police have warned that fake ticket links are circulating again. Both matter if you want the season to start smoothly.

Season 31 opening date, timings and theme

Time Out Dubai confirms the October 14 reopening. Based on the published season pattern, gates typically open from 4pm, running to midnight Sunday to Wednesday and 1am Thursday to Saturday — confirm the day’s hours on the official site before you set off, as timings can shift on public holidays.

Last season featured more than 40,000 shows and entertainment experiences, from cultural performances and street acts to concerts and fireworks, according to Dubai Standard’s VIP pack report. New attractions for Season 31 are expected to be announced closer to opening.

VIP packs: prices and perks

VIP packs went on pre-sale from September 21, with general sales from September 26, priced from Dh1,890 to Dh7,900 depending on the tier, with Mega Gold and Mega Silver packages above that. Packs are for UAE residents aged 18 and over with a valid Emirates ID, and are sold through Coca-Cola Arena’s ticketing site. Depending on the pack, perks can include VIP parking, entry tickets, Wonder Pass points, and offers at Dubai Parks and Resorts, Riverland, Real Madrid World, The Green Planet and Roxy Cinemas.

Dubai Police warning: buy only from official channels

Dubai Police have warned that fraudulent links offering VIP packs at attractive prices resurface every season and are designed to steal money and personal information. As Time Out Dubai reported, police urge visitors to buy only via the official channels, ignore offers from unknown links, and report suspicious activity through the e-Crime platform or by calling 901.
