The previously called Jebel Ali, but newly known UAE Exchange metro station has played the role of a central transit hub for my Dubai Tour. While sharing my personal experience I will try to cover all the pros and cons of my travel through the Dubai metro.
Moreover, the exceptional things which became enough for me to take the metro to explore Dubai will help you better understand Dubai metro travel.
As the western end of the Red Line, the UAE Exchange metro station lies in the Jebel Ali commercial region. The station has a code 42 and the fare zone 1. The main purpose of the station is to provide comfort and ease to commuters traveling to different areas of Dubai.
According to a report, the station was first opened as the Jebel Ali metro station in March 2011, about 12 years ago. As the years passed away, its name was changed to the UAE Exchange in 2015 along with a lot of other interior changes. However, these changes will be explained in the article below.

Location & Map for the UAE Exchange Station
Only knowing that the station is located in the industrial Jebel Ali area is not enough. Because people are mainly attached to the places surrounding the metro station. As I have mentioned that I wanted to explore the attractions, therefore, many people may want to access other places.
Banks, workplaces, and healthcare facilities are examples of such places. Now it is totally impossible to remember in which direction one can find these places, especially who is visiting Dubai for the first time. Therefore, using a map for finding the locations of all the nearby areas is a good option.
Here is the map which will show all the nearby areas and one can easily find his way to various destinations. It will become easy to find the adjacent station like Danube Metro Station by using the map.

A Brief Analysis of the Schematic Map
Among all the seven Emirates of UAE [Interlink], only Dubai provides the metro network spread throughout the city. The metro network is divided into two metro lines like Red Line and Green Line overall Dubai. Here, I will share the schematic map which will clearly show different metro stations connected to the Red Line.
Train Schedules for the UAE Exchange Metro Station
It is important for commuters as well as tourists to know the train schedules as well as the operational times of the trains. Otherwise, they may miss their trains just like I missed the very first time. Therefore, I make it much more important to check out the arrival and departure of trains for different metro stations. Since the UAE Exchange metro station lies on the Red Line of the Dubai Metro, here is a table that will help you to find the train schedules for weekdays.
Week Days | Time & Schedules |

Moreover, you may also get information regarding Nol cards, metro buses, Dubai Tram, taxis, and marines. All the latest updates due to any special event or public holidays are done instantly on this app.
Top-Notch Amenities and Facilities
Just like all the spectacular attractions of Dubai, its Metro system is just fantastic for not only the tourists but also the residents. I found the station filled up with great facilities and top-notch amenities making the journey easy and comfortable.
I also find there disabled persons travel within the metro station with complete ease by using lifts, escalators, elevators, and ramps. The Zoom store built within the station provides the facility of purchasing snacks as well as drinks. The use of Nol cards for buying tickets is very common but being a tourist I preferred to buy the tickets by using the vending machines.
Since Dubai is famous for its hottest temperature and my bad luck, I visited the Emirates in September. Therefore, I was quite tired of the scorching heat. But by stepping into the station I found myself in a state of joy due to the fully-equipped station with ACs. More facilities include high-quality CCTV cameras for security purposes, WiFi facilities, and others. Tune into the journey through the Dubai metro and provide your opinion on what you feel during your journey.
