One of Dubai’s biggest outdoor days out is back next week. Dubai Safari Park reopens for Season 8 on Monday, October 12, 2026, at 9am, bringing more than 3,000 animals across six themed zones back to Al Warqa 5, according to the park’s official site.
The season launches with a Wildest Opening Week from October 12 to 18, timed for the school mid-term break, under this year’s theme of Live More Wild Life, One Ville News reports.
Tickets, hours and the two safari tours
The park is open daily from 9am to 6pm, with last entry at 5pm. The Safari Park Pass starts from Dh50, while the Safari Bundle, at Dh117, adds the safari journey. Children under 3 and People of Determination enter free.
Every ticket includes the Arabian Desert Safari. The Explorer Safari Tour is the upgrade: a drive-through route past the big-cat and hippo habitats. Five live animal presentations run each open day between 11am and 4pm and are included, while encounters such as giraffe or lemur feeding are paid add-ons with limited places, as What’s On sets out.

Six zones and a baby white rhino
The six zones cover African Village, Asian Village, Explorer Village, the Arabian Desert Safari, Kids Farm and the wider park habitats. Animals to look for include Salam, a baby white rhino born at the park, and Dalia the giraffe. Premium options such as King of Safari, Behind the Scenes and Dine in the Wild add private tours and closer access.
Opening week plans for families
The Wildest Opening Week adds a Little Explorers’ Base Camp with safari face painting, clay modelling, arts and crafts, lawn games and safari-themed inflatables, plus photography and art activities. Arrive at opening time for the coolest hours, and pair the trip with our Sharjah Safari guide if you want a second wildlife day, the places to visit in Dubai list, and free things to do in Dubai for the rest of half-term.
