Air France has pushed its Dubai return back again. The Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Dubai International route is now suspended up to and including Saturday, October 24 — eleven days later than the October 13 date in its previous update — with partner airline KLM targeting the same day to resume Amsterdam Schiphol to Dubai services.

Time Out Dubai reports the airline is monitoring the regional situation in real time and has revised its advisory on a near-weekly basis over recent months. Air France briefly resumed the route on August 26 after a six-month gap, then suspended it again from September 3. RUS Tourism News, citing Gulf News reporting from September 30, records the same move from October 13 to October 24.

What affected passengers are being offered

Impacted travellers have been informed individually. Air France’s measures allow customers to cancel or postpone their trip at no cost, even if their specific flight had not been cancelled — a wider offer than the standard disruption policy, and worth using if your dates are movable, because restart dates on this route have slipped repeatedly through 2026.

The airline has resumed its Beirut route and is expected to resume Riyadh services after October 24 as well. The pattern matches the wider picture in Time Out’s tracker of suspended Dubai flights: carriers are clustering returns around the start of the winter season rather than trickling back individually.

DXB is open — this is one airline’s decision

Nothing in this update changes the status of Dubai International itself. Emirates, flydubai and dozens of international carriers continue to operate, and other European groups begin phased returns from October 25. If your Air France or KLM booking is affected, the realistic alternatives are a free date change onto the resumed services, a refund, or rebooking via a carrier already flying — our DXB guide and airport hotels pages help if a reroute adds a night in Dubai, and the transit visa guide covers longer connection stops.

Because this is the second extension in a month, treat October 24 as a plan, not a promise: check your booking in the airline’s app before travelling to the airport, and keep the free-change window in mind for November trips too.
