Emirates Launches Daily Dubai–Helsinki Flights on 1 October 2026

Emirates is adding a new pin to its Nordic map. From 1 October 2026, the airline will fly daily between Dubai and Helsinki, becoming the only carrier to connect Finland and the UAE with a year-round non-stop service. The route will be operated by the airline’s newest aircraft, the Airbus A350, complete with its acclaimed Premium Economy cabin.

The schedule is built around onward connections. Flight EK167 departs Dubai at 08:45 and arrives in Helsinki at 14:55, while the return EK168 leaves Helsinki at 16:45 and lands in Dubai at 00:20 the following day. Timings are set to link passengers smoothly to Bangkok, Tokyo, Singapore, Sydney and dozens of other cities on the airline’s network — a useful setup whether you are heading north to Finland or onward to Asia and Australia.

Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer Adnan Kazim said the route reflects strong existing demand, with travellers already connecting between Helsinki and Dubai through the airline’s other Nordic gateways. According to the airline, the direct service is a natural next step for the market.

What the A350 Offers on the Helsinki Route

The three-class A350 seats 298 passengers across Business, Premium Economy and Economy. Emirates is placing its latest cabin products on the route from day one, including the new electric Premium Economy seat with a full-height privacy screen between every seat, adjustable positioning, a U-Dream headrest, USB-C charging and wireless charging. Emirates SkyCargo will also carry up to 16 tonnes of bellyhold cargo per flight, supporting trade in high-value and time-sensitive goods between the UAE and Finland.

Finland Is Having a Moment

Emirates’ Wider Network Changes This Season

Helsinki is the headline, but it is far from the only change. In a release ahead of the Arabian Travel Market, Emirates also confirmed:

  • Second daily flights from Dubai to Tokyo Narita, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Accra.
  • An A380 upgrade on one of the daily services to Delhi.
  • A350 deployments to Larnaca, Malta, Nairobi and Hamburg from late October, followed by Mauritius the next month.
  • A retrofitted Boeing 777 on flights to Stockholm in October and Frankfurt in November.
