Global Food Week 2026 opens today at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi and runs from October 6 to 8, bringing agriculture ministers, food producers, researchers and investors together under the theme of building scalable food futures.
The event is organised by ADNEC Group in strategic partnership with the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA), under the patronage of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, according to the WAM report carried by UAE News Network. It runs alongside Ai Everything at the same venue, making ADNEC one of the busiest sites in the capital this week.
India as Guest of Honour
The Republic of India is this year’s Guest of Honour, reflecting both its role in global food systems and the close UAE-India trade relationship. A dedicated India pavilion brings Indian companies, brands and exporters face to face with government entities, buyers and food-security leaders, with business meetings centred on food exports, logistics, packaging and agritech investment, as outlined by UAE Vartha.

New this year: Shop at the Show
For the first time, visitors can buy directly from producers inside the exhibition. Shop at the Show is a retail section where consumers and chefs can purchase goods such as honey, dates and packaged specialities on the spot, rather than only viewing trade displays. The wider programme includes the Global Food Security Summit, an AgriTech Forum, a Farmers Majlis and the Abu Dhabi Date Palm Exhibition, which spotlights the cultural and economic place of dates in the region.
Planning a visit
Trade visitors should check which sessions their registration covers, as summit and forum access can differ from general exhibition entry. Food-minded travellers combining the show with sightseeing can use our places to visit in Dubai, Dubai shopping guide and best time to visit Dubai pages to build the rest of the trip.
