Kazakhstan’s flag carrier is back at Dubai International. Air Astana is resuming scheduled services to Dubai from both Almaty and Astana, rebuilding capacity through October after the disruption linked to the regional situation.
The return is good news for travellers between Central Asia and the Gulf — and it lands right at the start of Dubai’s prime visiting season, when cooler weather pulls in visitors from across the region.
Air Astana’s Dubai schedule: Almaty first, then Astana
Here is how the restart lines up, according to TTR Weekly’s report:
- Almaty–Dubai: resumes October 1, 2026 with four flights per week, increasing to 12 per week by the end of October.
- Astana–Dubai: resumes October 2, 2026 with three flights per week, increasing to 10 per week by the end of October.
That is a steep ramp-up: from seven combined weekly flights at launch to 22 a week by month’s end, suggesting the airline expects solid demand on the corridor.

Schedule could still change
Air Astana says it continues to monitor developments in the region closely and may adjust the schedule depending on the Middle East situation. If you are booking for later in October or beyond, keep an eye on your flight status — the ramp-up to 12 and 10 weekly flights is the plan, but the airline has flagged that it is not set in stone.
Why October is a smart time to visit
The restart coincides with the start of Dubai’s most comfortable months. October brings daytime temperatures that make outdoor sightseeing pleasant again, and it sits ahead of the peak December–January rush — often with better hotel rates.
